hi!!! i meant to publish a blog post much earlier but i've been CRAZYYYY BUSY!!!!

first off i'm glad everyone seems to enjoy the new layout... it was a really fun side project to do, and such a huge relief for me to manage as the site continues to grow. the web design museum was a big help. most (now optimized!) images and about half of the audio files on this website are now self-hosted through neocities so most pages should load faster than before... larger files are still hosted externally now through mediafire and filegarden which i find more convenient and reliable than catbox. i also finally got rid of the iframe navbar; it was bugging me for so long LOL. it's JS now, since i use JS for other essential things on this website anyway.

also, many sections on this site are now collapsible - check for the ▼ symbol. hopefully this makes the site easier to navigate. and as always if something isn't working as you think it should / links are broken, feel free to reach out to me. i expect this site version to last a long time!

i. "spirit phone: another pulse" with pastrybanki

i contributed a track for pastrybanki's chiptune cover album Spirit Phone: Another Pulse to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Spirit Phone by Lemon Demon!!! pastrybanki wrote all other tracks AND made the album artwork (pictured on the left; SO cool!!!). it was wonderful to come back to famitracker for a little bit, especially with pastry - she is so incredibly talented and i absolutely adore her style!

Another Pulse will be released tomorrow, march 13, on her youtube channel here. she has also posted a trailer here. we sincerely hope you enjoy it!

ii. art show + CDs + DJ set in oakland 4/26

mish mash collective will be hosting a mixed media art show in oakland next month, 4/26, and i will be there! i'll be displaying some of my own stuff... and selling freaking CDs and stickers!!!!!!!!

the CD is 60+ minutes of my favorite bootlegs up to now... if you loved R4U you will want this CD, because it's literally R4U 2. i will also be selling 2 sticker designs! i am still moving along the process w/ a local manufacturer so i don't have proper photos but i will update this blog post as soon as i get them.

these CDs + stickers are a small limited run. i have no plans to ship them so come get them!!! (or book me... and i will bring them!) i'll be donating my cut of profits to No Us Without You LA ^_^

i will also be doing a little set during the event. it'll be some breakbeat/jungle/footwork tomfoolery you don't want to miss... so come on out and say hi!!!

iii. 100 gecs - hollywood baby (14.4ml "babie" mix)

here is the First 14.4ml Edit of the year: a mashcore / speedcore-ish bootleg of hollywood baby... this is a 132kbps version, and the HQ version will be on the CD! there'll be more mashcore edits on the CD in general because i love making them ♥

if you can't snag a CD, don't worry - the HQ version will be posted to the site eventually ^_^
