secondarily, i made this website to consolidate my online presence. i wanted it to be a deliberate object, free from "the bloat and fatigue that can come with the rapid-fire pace of social media", as i wrote in my first "about" page in 2024. the places that were once launch points for exploring the web have now disfigured themselves into whatever will keep you scrolling the same page for longer, and i feel less of a need to share every single thought these days just to show "proof of life" in places where humans aren't even the majority of users anymore. still, the internet can be a beautiful place if you know where to go... so i hope this website humanizes my digital experience by writing it, and yours by reading it.
